Creativity within 4 little walls
March 2020 does not remind me of spring as it used to do and it draws a deserted border that runs through all streets. Although winter is now over and you want to enjoy the fresh air, you can actually only enjoy a look out of your window. You use the time and go for walks in old scores, look for new mistakes and then often come across new ideas.
What is it that you can you about? I planned to write about my new works and collaborations and to fill my blog, which I was so looking forward to, with life. So, let me start again and tell you about the successful and enjoyable things that happened. After moving and graduating from university, my studio is back on track with a new stage piano. And this stage piano deserves a really good review, but more on that in another post. The laptop has been set up, finished scores have been filed and are now waiting for the first recordings. Projects that I could not work on for several months were dusted off and will soon be finished with a little help of my musical friends. So, the first uploads in 2020 are already in progress.
New ideas, but also old forgotten inspirations can be seen again and so the small musical components for new albums, new projects and new recordings come together. Admittedly, the narrow, the spatial, as well as the mental tightness that has crept into the various corners of the house seemed to me to do something at first. But what do you have music, art and literature for?
