Capturing the essence of a song like “Photograph” is no small feat. It’s a delicate balance of preserving the original’s sentiment while infusing it with a new musical perspective. For me, this arrangement was a labor of love, a journey of exploration through chords and melodies.

The process began with a spark of inspiration many years ago. Almost 8 years I improvised on the piano and simply that the piano write the arrangement by itself. Much like the way a photographer frames a shot, I listened to the song, dissecting its structure and nuances. Each chord progression, each lyrical phrase became a brushstroke in the canvas of my arrangement. With every keystroke, I aimed to evoke the raw emotion embedded within “Photograph.” From the gentle melancholy of longing to the soaring heights of nostalgia, I poured my heart into every phrase, hoping to convey the depth of feeling behind Sheeran’s lyrics.

Since then many people entered and left my life, but the memories still remain. Today, I release this arrangement and I’m filled with gratitude for all those who have supported me along the way.
